Coast Fury

 UPDATE 04/24/2022

 Time Trial Update!! I've finally made a time attack mod to a race map and i think it's working flawlessly, but you must install CLEO+ to make it work, just redownload it and overwrite all your CoastFury files, just like installing any other map.

 

Heeey, new map! it's a map that i have been designing it for some time ago, and it's finished :D

I think this is probably my best map in terms of playability, like, i tried to make the roads smooth as possible using a lot of techniques that i didn't used in my other maps, and it's also probably the most detailed too i think, even though it's not biggest.

I also took some inspiration from the trial mountain from GT4 to make this track, not only that, but i have used a lot of textures from the track also, they are from the Trial Mountain 0.3 by xXxKOKExXx and Trial Mountain 0.2 by tomj, also used some props of them, like the cars parked at the pit stop, the cranes and some other small stuff.

And yes, the tv on the pit stop is fully animated, it gives a very cool look to the scene!

And of course, the video showing the map, with lots of blur and shake effects xD

 As you can see in the video there's a lot of cool tricks that i did with the camera, this is a new set of camera scripts that i'm writing, not sure when i'll complete it though. It'll definitely help a lot of gta sa film makers!

 

If you don't like the way that the lods work (me included) with those black flickering in the models when you get closer to them, just install Project 2DFX and in the SALodLights.ini  go to the AllNormalObjectsDrawDistance and set a greater value than the default one, i use 700, it doesn't affect at all my fps.

You can either enter the map by a cheat code " COASTZ " or by going into the entrance shown in the image:  LOCATION.png

As i said in the update now with a time trial!

To use it is quite simple:

 

Type " timect " to start it, or go to the redmark in the pitstop

Type " tre " during the race to reset it

Type " exi " during the race to disable the TimeTrial

Use the arrow keys to move in the menu and the spacebar select an option

I'm even using a snippet from his Cleo+ test script to check if Cleo+ is installed in the game

At the moment it only works with CoastFury, but i really want to make version in the future that anyone can do time attack using this script by just altering values in a .ini file.
